Set in the Glorious Playground with a resident yoga teacher, learn the foundations of primal breathing control. Adopt this skill throughout the programme and beyond, facilitated by your teacher.
An immersive Nature Walk embraces the sounds of nature as you track native wildlife and embrace the ancient Japanese ritual of waterfall bathing. The cold water purifies the mind, body and soul, increasing the white blood cells which boosts the immune system. Venture out with your guide after dinner for an evening of stargazing under a clear sky.
Day 2: Mindful mountain hike to Ben Vorlich and rewarding spa treatments
Your morning begins with mindfulnesss in the mountains. After a fueling breakfast, you will be out on a full day expedition to the summit of Ben Vorlich. The view from the top in simply jawdropping as you gaze out onto the dramatic scenery of Loch Earn. A picnic lunch will be served during the hike, hidden away in a beautifully secluded spot in the mountains.
On return to the hotel, a rewarding aromatherapy massage will be waiting at the award-winning spa. Experience steam rooms, sauna cabins, vitality pool and relax with a good book in the peace of the courtyard.
Day 3: Foraging, forest bathing and fly fishing in a hidden Loch
Rise and shine for a morning of day of wild adventures in Gleneagles’ thick forest and woodlands. Connect with nature as you discover the medicinal benefits of flora and fauna, and taste your way through the wild organic flavours of Scotland’s natural pantry.
Venture deeper into the estate, visiting Gleneagles secret Loch. A calming boat ride out onto the silent waters for a morning of meditative fly fishing.
Back on land, a unique Forest Bathing experience in Torlum Wood gives you the opportunity to slow the tempo and immerse yourself entirely within the tranquility of the wild. A self-guided audio-meditation taps into the Japanese art of Shinrin-yoku. This sensory practise harnessing therapeutic healing powers of nature, targeting stress and enhancing a sense of calm. The holistic therapy can be utilised back at home, helping to tackle the stresses of daily life with greater ease.
